Sandhole is my dream and birth place situated in the district Mandi, Himachal Pradesh. Sandhole is very famous for its fairs and festivals. It is a place where three districts join their hands with each other and these districts are Mandi, Kangra and Hamirpur. You can also enjoy with your friends at the Harsi Patan where you can enjoy boat with your family and friends. It is one of the oldest ways of crossing the river vyas. I forget told you one main thing that this charming town is located on the river vyas. You can enjoy swimming, but you must be careful while doing swimming.

This town is easily accessible by the various ways of traveling hence it is not accessible by airways as its main airport is located in the Gaggle, which is about more than 100km from this town. If you are traveling from any long distance, then it can reach here direct from the Delhi. Traveling by trains is also a great opportunity for the travelers as they have to travel to Palampur from the Pathankot. The main railway junction is at Pathankot and if you are traveling further, then you need to take narrow gauge train Pathankot to Palampur Himachal station.
I would like to suggest you bus as the best option of traveling to and from Sandhole. You can travel to this place by your own car or you can hire a car or you can use other ways of transport. To explore more in this town you can use local transport or hire car.

Newly constructed bridge at Sandhole is now open for the general public. Himachal’s Chief Minister was there for the opening of this bridge. This bridge has made many connections with other towns in the Himachal. You can travel directly to the Delhi, Chandigarh, Punjab, Haryana, Kullu, Mandi, Kangra, Hamirpur and many other places directly from the Sandhole.

There are many primary and secondary private or Govt. schools are there in the town. My primary school was Hattie ka school. Now you will find many private primary schools in this city as they are good education to the students.

Awesome narration by you of Sandole (a beautiful valley Surrounded by beautiful mountains). It might be narrated in others words such as "sandhole is one of the oldest historical place, situated in district Mandi, Himachal Pradesh. It is well known for its festivals and cultural programs. Narwar ka mela is one of the old festival of this place. In earlier days, people far from other states used to come on the river bank of beas,where this mela is organised. Other place of attraction of sandhole is sanela wali mata which is built at the top of mountain. More than 600 stairs were constructed to reach this temple. In earlier days people used to treat this picnic spot. All the near about school children used to come here for picnic. Almost at the distance of 20 to 25 km, one of the historical fort Kamlaah Fort is situated at the outskirts of sandhole. One can't believe how this fort would have been constructed. Around 300 Ft. Hight , red stone of ancient time and beautifully designed several small shelters,which comes during the visit of main fort. Now this fort is known for kamlaah Baba temple. Thousands of pilgrims visit this temple everyday. Now when we come back to main Sandhole Market, which is known as Camp and Hatnala Bazar. People almost from all near distt. And villages visits to these markets to shop their dailly needs and day to day fashion wear. One of the oldest govt. School which is known as high school situated at the end of the market. This school has very rich history many known politician , bussinessman, and professional are products of this School. Sandhole is the only place in distt. Mandi which connects three distts. Kangra , Hamirpur and Mandi. Further only at 45km away, a beautiful town cum valley Palampur, Dharamshala, mcleodganj, Baijnath pandav temple are the place of attractions. and if you go upper side towards main Mandi the place of attractions are Revalsar, Karsog and Mandi. Thus Sandhole Valley is a place of beauty....
